The story about dedication to nature
The story of Helios Gea company was born in Istria country, Croatia, charming Mediterranean region rich with truffles, vineyards and olive groves. It was these very olives and their medicinal benefits that caught our attention and became the core of our business in the following years

Innovative method of processing olive pulp biomass for use for cosmetic purposes
Our extensive research and hard work resulted in an innovative procedure for extracting a medically approved active element from olive pulp biomass for cosmetic use. We followed our instinct and inspiration, while using our best effords to maintain a harmonious relationship with nature. Today, we can proudly say we have succeeded. Helios Gea is the only producer of medically approved active element from olive pulp biomass for cosmetic use. Helios Gea produces and distributes natural skin care cosmetics based just on organic olive pulp and which were created in accordance with ecological and environmental values. Helios Gea is also the exclusive distributor of Alfaparf skin care brands for the Croatian market
45th parallel as the inspiration for the brand
The 45th parallel passes throught the small town of Bale and its most southern part, which means halfway between the Equator and the North Pole – the most ideal place to live. Hence the inspiration for the name of the product line "45 degrees"
Innovation - Process
What is the olive pulp
Oil separation process results in residue referred to as olive pulp biomass, our ‘green gold’.
Olive pulp consists of meaty tissue of the fruit (skin – epicarp, pulp – mesocarp, 25%-28% vegetable water, 6%-6,5% olive oil),
the pit – endocarp and olive leaves.
It contains high concentration of natural antioxidants of vitamin origin,
antioxidants of non-vitamin origin and minerals

1) The olive pulp serves as an excellent skin moisturizer and a regulator of photo aging (caused by ultraviolet radiation)
and chronological aging
2) It also reduces skin damage, pigmentation and wrinkle visibility, while helping to keep skin youthful
3) The antioxidants from the olive pulp have another important role - they help the skin to renew
itself, prevent further damaging, act as a natural emulsifier and lower the
risk of skin cancer
